I figured Fightmetric would provide a reliable unbiased view of how the Kimbo Slice vs James Thompson fight turned out. Kenny Florian just defeated Joe Lauzon and so cut down another 155 contender fighting for the UFC belt. While Florian looked impressive in victory, his wrestling and takedown defense did not change much from the Sean Sherk encounter. Lauzon took down Florian a couple of times.
